With Yùrt, Brecht Plasschaert (Marble Sounds, Yuko) launches a new band that captures the imagination.

Populated only by resounding names from the Belgian pop and jazz scene and served by an adventurous line-up with a duo of clarinets, it has a more than promosing outlook.

The result sits somewhere between raw power and pure melancholy. Thomas Oosterlinck (Amongster) sings over a carefully orchestrated carpet of sound with frayed, sometimes crackling electronics.
